The saga to find the new members of our family

We began looking for a pair of basenjis at Christmas, 2001.  Our search lead us to these adorable puppies, from breeders Quita Basenjis and Jumoke Basenjis, both of Seattle, Washington.

Finally on February 15, 2002, the decision was made!  And the winners are:

Luxor the handsome and dashing tri-color male, and

Qena the little red female with the tiny white spot on her back.
